Hottest Upcoming Concerts Reviewed - July 2010

If you live in the US, chances are that you'll be spending much of summer eating 2-minute noodles and peanut butter sandwiches, saving your cash for concert tickets ... there are some great artists playing around the country this season! You might not be able to grab tickets to all these great bands and artists, even with great value deals from a ticket broker ... but we're going to make you mentally drool over the next few months of live music concert ticket sales anyway!
Weird Al Yankovic
He's just as weird, and just as 'Al' as he has ever been! Be quick or you'll miss seeing Weird Al Yankovic across the country - if you’re in California, Minnesota or Ohio you have a few weeks to grab your tickets.
Counting Crows
Is it possible to put more emotion into a song? Would you even really want to? Nobody does 'heart-rending' better than Counting Crows do - if you want to laugh, cry and be uplifted in person, you can catch them in quite a few states throughout August.
Lady Gaga
Our very own Lady of Gaga has a pretty difficult schedule coming up - her schedule is packed with dates until April 2011. Check out Lady Gaga concert tickets now - no matter where you are, you should be able to get to see Her Sexiness without too much driving.
Justin Bieber
Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhh! Ahhhhhh! Get used to hearing that if you’re off to a Justin Bieber concert ... there are quite a few upcoming across the country. I'd look to get your windows reinforced against the high-pitched screams of teenage girls if you live in the vicinity of any major concert venues...
Korn
Korn is doing quite a few dates across the country over July and August as part of the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. Ticket brokers have got some pretty good deals for these shows as well, starting at just $49.
Celine Dion
She's a Vegas favorite, and Celine Dion (who is in the top 10 list for the highest grossing concert tours of all time), will be doing quite a few dates in Sin City with her angel's voice from March to June 2011.

World's Best Concert Venues - US Tour Continues

A great concert really is a collaboration between the artist themselves and the venue. People (especially aspiring musicians) obsess over what brand of guitar their band heros play, and what settings they use on what brand of amp ... but when it comes to playing live at a concert in front of an audience, the design of the venue and its acoustics make just as much difference in the quality of sound. Today we continue out tour of the best US venues to buy concert tickets to, as voted by ticket brokers. Last time we checked out some of the biggest name mixed concert and theatre venues - today we take a more underground, music-based view.
The Fabulous Fox in St Louis
Onee of the Grateful Dead's favourite places to play, The Fabulous Fox has also hosted artists of the likes of Leonard Cohen and the White Stripes. It has a very versatile appeal, and also a versatile acoustic quality, and doubles as the St Lousi venue for touring Broadway musicals.
The Troubadour in Los Angeles
Sound familiar? Even if you haven’t been there, you probably know of The Troubadour in Los Angeles as the meeting place of The Eagles, the venue that launched the likes of Elton John,, Linda Ronstadt, The Byrds, Joni Mitchell and Van Morrison. Arlo Guthrie and James Taylor were also up and comers in their concerts here.
First Avenue and 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis
His Purpleness chose this concert venue to have a starring role in Purple Rain - well known as Minneapolis's finest.
CBGB's
This New York city club was founded by Hilly Krystal in 1973, and while it was ooriginally intended to feature Country, Blue Grass and Blues, it is best known for launching the careers of punk bands like the Ramones, the Misfits, The Cramps, and other bands like Blondie and Talking Heads.
The Palladium in New York
We'll stay on the East Coast for a while, considering that the Palladium is there! Frank Zappa was fond of playing here, and The Clash, Boomtown rats, U2 and The Undertones have all done stints at the Palladium. Dire Straits, KISS, Iron Maiden and Def Leppard complete the musical variety here!
