When my best friend told me she was getting married and asked me to be that maid of honor, I was ecstatic. I could not wait to help her plan the wedding. Everything was going along fine until her fiancé informed me that I was in charge of the bachelorette party. This was somewhat overwhelming to me. I had no experience in planning a get together like this and was afraid of planning the same old party. I knew that I needed to come up with a party that we would all remember for years to come.
I ran a few ideas past her fiancé about maybe going to a spa for the weekend or going out for a gourmet dinner and drinks. He said all of these ideas sounded well enough, but if he could plan it he would incorporate football into it. Then a light bulb went off in my head. I decided to get tickets to go see her favorite football team, the Chicago Bears. I knew this would make a great weekend for a bachelorette party and it would be a trip we would all remember.
I wanted to get great seats for the football game. Her fiancé suggested that I use check online. He said that the only way to get great seats was to contact an online ticket broker. Not only do they have the connections to get premium football ticket, they also go to the games and could tell me where the seats are. I called and purchased the best tickets that they had for our bachelorette weekend.
When I surprised my best friend with what I had planned for the party, she was so excited and could not believe what great seats we had for the Bears game. The other women that were going on the bachelorette weekend were also impressed be where the seats were located. They thought for sure I had some kind of inside connection to get these great sports tickets. When I told them that I had used a football ticket broker, they were shocked. None of them could believe how good the seats were and all their husbands were jealous that they were not going on this football weekend. Regardless to say we had a great time and my friends are still talking about it to this day.
